Good evening to all, Wow, the news here gets better and better. The plan is for Neil to go to Health South Monday. There was discussion that Neil might go tomorrow. However, the orthopedist wants Neil to stay and to put the wound vac back on one of the pin sites. The doctor said the trach will be pulled in the morning. All systems are go right now for Monday. Isn't that wonderful? We are so very grateful for Neil's progress. Please pray for Neil's lungs, leg and his continued breathing with the oxygen support.
Our good friend, Janice Strickland, fell and had surgery on her knee today. The doctor wired her knee cap together and is optimistic. Please pray for her full recovery. Please remember Bob Robertson from Dothan as he will have surgery tomorrow. We so pray he will get a good report.
We saw Shannon, her mom and her family today. They will have a meeting with the doctors tomorrow. Please pray for Shannon's full recovery.

I am sure your ears were burning today because we had our "Creative Services" graduation lunch with Jerry. Boy did we miss you. We know you would have been there celebrating with us. We are so proud of him, just as we are of you. Hang in there and get to Healthsouth and do your magic and you will be home before you know it.

Well, at this rate Neil really will be at the beach 4th of July. I can't think of a better and more appropriate way to celebrate "independence day" than with Neil being bedded down in the sand. Neil, your outlook has been so positive through all of this and you continue to amaze me with your strength and determenation. You know I'm not a gambeler, but when you and Aunt Jenny get ready to make that trip to Biloxi, I want to be there cheering you on!!!! We love you guys and continue to celebrate with you.
