We had a good visit with Neil. Every visit with Neil is a good visit. His temperature was 100.4 this morning ,99.4 this afternoon and 98.6 tonight without any tylenol. It is grand when his temperature goes down with no intervention. All in all this has been a good day. Each day we know Neil's lungs are getting stronger and he is getting better. Please pray for Neil's lungs, leg and his continued breathing on the trach collar.
Please continue to pray for the full recovery of Sue, Shannon, Daisy, John and our other friends here. Listen to what Sue did. Her daughters have been so worried about whether or not her vision was impaired. One of the grandsons had written a note on the board in her room. Sue was looking around when her daughters were there and said, "What about that note that says, Memaw, Get Up!!!!" Well, needless to say, Sue's vision is great.
Shannon's sweet parents shared their dinner with us. One of their friends, a local caterer, brought a platter of chicken salad and a wonderful fruit platter. We are going to be sad when we tell our children we gained 50 pounds while they were in SICU.
