April 11 10:30 am

Hey Folks, I am writing this from Neil's room in SICU. We brought the computer back here so Neil could check on the golfers at the Masters. He has been on the trach collar for over 24 hours. He is earning his wings to a room on the floor out of SICU. He is doing a great job. The doctor's physician assistant came by and said Neil was doing great. The orthopedist has not been by yet. Neil's temperature is 99.1 and the nurse is not concerned. They have extended the levaquin for 10 days and have discontinued the ancef. Please pray for Neil's lungs, leg and his continued breathing on the trach collar.

Sue had a good night. Please continue to pray for her full recovery.

Please continue to pray for Shannon. The respiratory therapist is going to try her on the Bi-Pap. We so hope this will work well.

Hope you all have a good Friday. Thanks so much for your love and support.

Neil,

Iam so proud you are getting so close to getting in a room and off the ventilator. Sounds to me like it is getting closer to peas,
tater salad, deviled eggs, fried okra day. Hoo Ray!!!!
