April 8 9:00 pm

Just visited Neil. Neil is tired and a bit groggy. He is on the ventilator and is being given some breaths. They will reduce the breaths in the morning as he is more alert. Neil said his leg is throbbing. (I would think mine would be killing me.) DeAnn went and got Neil a slushy and he said it was very good. Please pray for Neil's leg and his lungs.

Please pray for the full recovery of Sue, Shannon, Ruth and our other friends here. I visited with Ruth's family and she is doing very well. They hope she will go home tomorrow. There is always some good news in this waiting room.

Thanks so much for your love and support.

Good to hear of progress still being made. We pray for no infection from the surgery, a weaning off the respirator, and helaing of leg and lungs. And God knows we pray for any need that we cannot identify. We will not stop praying and caring, and look forward to the day when Neil can walk on his own.

We are keeping up with Neil's progress through the blog daily. We are praying and believing God will meet all of Neil's needs (and his family's!) even before any of us knows them! Hang in there and keep the faith. Better days are ahead!

Who wouldn't be tired/groggy after the surgery. He's working very hard, so he deserves a rest. Wednesday will be a good day!!!Keep up the faith as we all continue to pray for God's hand in this.
We love you guys,

Neil - You have come so far. Every day I pray for God to keep you close and walk with you, and to carry you on the days you need him to. He continues to answer all the prayers that are being lifted up for you. There is nothing that the two of you can't do together.
Love you, Aunt Rhonda
