Just visited Neil. He sure did have a good night. When I called this morning to check on Neil, the nurse said Neil's night was "GREAT". This is the first time that word has ever been used. The infectious disease doctor will come by to review the cultures from Neil's leg to be sure levaquin is the appropriate antibiotic. It is very doubtful Neil will be moved to a room today, but not because of his condition. Neil will continue to need nursing care for a while because of the trach collar and his leg dressing must be changed every day. The dressing is more sophisticated than a normal wrap and the pin sites must be packed. Today they are not sure there is an available room and the nurse patient ratio is 1 nurse to 9 patients. Another nurse is to come in but the doctor will not move Neil until he is sure all his needs can be met. Again, there might not even be a room. So, Neil is discouraged but understands the issues. We continue to be so pleased with Neil's progress. DeAnn and Reese have washed Neil's hair. There is a pressure ulcer (small) on the back of his head. This one and the one on his right heel are from the rotary bed. (It is amazing there are only the two.)
Please pray for Neil's lungs, legs and his continued progress with the trach collar.
Please pray for the full recovery of Sue, Shannon, Daisy and our other friends here.
Daisy is having a difficult time with the medication. She has the most faithful friend in the world with her. We should all have a friend like Laura is for Daisy. Let's continue to pray for her recovery. Sue continues to make progress. Last night she had mashed potatoes, some type of meat and carrots. She is not on a soft diet, she is on pureed food which is better. How wonderful is this? Please keep Sue in your prayers. Shannon's parents have been told to be patient. They are doing such a good job with this. Please continue to pray for Shannon's full recovery.
Thanks so very much for your love and support.

All you Precious Ones:
As I've heard from you and observed:
I've seen you turn your Fears into Faith..and that's what God wants you to do through Him.
We love you,
Aunt Jane and Uncle Jules
Sounds to me like Neil is moving right along. Your faithfulness and love are being rewarded. Keep it up.
Love you
Lynn
