Had a good visit with Neil. The infectious disease doctor said Neil had vancomycin resistant enterococcus. He has Neil on zyvox and Neil is still on the arithomycin for his stomach. The doctor said this is "doable". We are so pleased!!! According to the nurse, this is a direct result of the massive amounts of antibiotics Neil has been on, but we recognize those were necessary to save his life. The nurse said this was always a risk on the backside of saving his life and the good news is we are on that backside. Please pray for Neil's lungs, leg and his continued breathing on the trach collar.
Sue's daughter had a good visit. She said Sue had a good appetite and ate her dinner. She is getting better each visit. Please continue to remember her in your prayers. Daisy is now on her normal medication and was sleeping during the visit. It is so good as she has been very agitated. Let's remember her in our prayers. Shannon has had a good day. Her parents will not hear from the CAT Scan until Monday. Please pray for Shannon's full recovery. I did not see John's family but the earlier visit was good. We pray he will continue to recover from the surgery.
Thank you all for your love and support.
