We just got finished visiting with Neil. He has been on the trach collar since 8:30 am. He wants to hold out until 12:00. We did some physical therapy exercises with him. His strength continues to improve everyday. We are so pleased that he is able to cough up all the mucus in his lungs. This is really good for him because he is getting all of that out of his lungs, and it builds his lung strength. They took some x-rays of his leg this morning. We're hoping that the doctor will be able to see improvement since we started using the bone stimulator. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.

arcmqGood morning to all! All of you continue to be in our prayers. We are tickled to hear how long Neil is staying on the 'trach collar'. It sounds like to me, every minute gets him that much closer to coming off the ventilator! Give our love to Neil and everyone up there in SICU.
