Good evening to all. Neil has had a good day. The wound care folks changed the dressing on his leg. You will remember this is the incision cite and has pulled apart some and it has the vacuum like his abdomen. This wound does look better and is definitely improving. To change these dressings takes a couple of hours. The doctor's physician assistant came by and said Neil was going to be like an Olympic athlete. Neil's assignment is to eat, sleep and exercise. This has been a good day. Each day is a day of healing. I think Neil, DeAnn and Reese are going to have a "spend the night" party. Please pray for Neil's lungs, leg and his continued breathing on the trach collar.
Please pray for the full recovery of Sue, Shannon, John, Nelson and our other friends here. Sue went down for a minor procedure. They changed the cannula in her trach to a smaller size. She did very well and her daughters are waiting on her to return to the room. I saw John's wife and he had his gall bladder removed. He did very well with the surgery and we hope this was a major part of his medical problem. Please pray for Nelson's lungs and for Shannon to wake up.
Thanks so much for your love and support. We cannot wait until tomorrow.
