Neil has had a good day. Honestly I would describe this as an uneventful, boring day. (A great, restful day of healing.) He continues to have no temperature. Yea!!!!! You will smile when I tell you DeAnn brought him a cheese quesidilla for dinner. The nurse is encouraging Neil to eat more food. She said this is the way to get off the TPN and tube feeding. We cannot wait until tomorrow. Please pray for Neil's lungs, leg and continued breathing on the trach collar.
Sue has had the best day ever. She is talking over her trach without the speaking valve. Please continue to remember her in your prayers. Please pray for the full recovery of Sue, Shannon, John, Nelson and our other friends here.
Thanks so much for your love and support. Neil received one of the most special calls tonight. One of his friends (this is Neil's second family) got married tonight. He called Neil and all of the brothers talked to Neil as well as several friends. The band played Sweet Home Alabama and sent their love to Neil. There was not a dry eye in this hospital room and we sent our love to all.
