April 9 9:00 pm

Just visited Neil. He has had a long day. Each time he sat up, he extended the time. The last time was for 2 minutes. This is certainly progress. Neil has temperature of 101.3. The nurse is not alarmed and said this is due to the surgery. They will start a culture if the temp reaches 101.5 . We cannot wait until tomorrow. Please pray for Neil's lungs and leg.

Guess what??? I have been reluctant to mention this, but today is Wednesday and it is almost over and Sue has had a Wonderful Wednesday. You will remember every Wednesday she has had a bump in the road, but not today! In fact today has been the best day she has had since being in SICU. Thank goodness, it is time. She has been in the chair and has had good visits. I am thinking she has "turned the corner". Please continue to pray for her full recovery.

Shannon continues to respond when her parents are in the room. We are so hopeful she will continue to wake up. Let's pray for her continued progress.

Tonight friends of ours and Neil's brought dinner that was prepared by the Hickory Pit in Elba. Not only did we have a delicious meal, but we were able to share with our friends here in the SICU waiting room. To say we are blessed with friends, family and community is such an understatement. Thank you all so very much.

Good morning, I'm up early and thought I'd see if the blog was updated after I went to bed and it seems the good news just keeps coming. God continues to bless all of you with miracles. I'll continue to pray for you and your friends.
Love to all
Lynn
