March 9 1:20

We have visited with Neil. We try to let DeAnn have the last few minutes. His oxygen sats are still 100. The nurse said they are giving him lasix which will help with the fluid retention. His blood pressure is up a bit and is responding well to medication. This is not alarming at all. It is the blood pressure dropping which becomes the problem. Neil's color is definitely better. We are so very encouraged. Thanks so very much. Please continue to pray for Neil's lungs.

Way to go, Neil!

Reese, thank you for sharing the pics and memories. Vance and I were reminiscing last night and recall that among Neil's many talents, he is a fabulous entertainer. We remember well his country music renditions at your celebration party (from grad school)!

Love, hugs and prayers for all of you! JK and V

Keep up the good work Neil! Today is a gorgeous day! Makes me think B-E-A-C-H! Christopher will be going to Houston on Wed, but will be back on Fri. There's no doubt in my mind that he will be getting ready to taunt you with that "favorite nephew" thing you and he have going on with Aunt Jenny. I'm sure she enjoys that as much as the 2 of you do. Our thoughts and prayers are with you continuously!

Dear Lucia,

Baker and I went over to J & J's to play with Bessie. I assure you she is happy and healthy. She and Annie have bonded well. I've never seen a dog with all of its limbs climb stairs as fast as she can with 3!!! The boys and I are hoping to get to dog-sit her, too.

I'm THRILLED to hear Neil is getting color in those cute cheeks!!!! Go, Neil, Go! He's going to get better and better!

Love,
Karmen

Glad to hear Neil is improving. Ms. Lucia when my father was in the ICU years ago, we kept a diary of people that visited the hospital while he was in the unit so he could later see the names of all the people that had visited.

May GOD continue to bless.

In Christ,

Debra and Rick
