Neil continues to respond to this ventilator setting!!!!!! Yea!!!!! We are thrilled. We were not able to talk to the nurse to get her thoughts as she is having to work with another patient. (We are so sorry for them.) So, Neil's oxygen sat is at 100 with the oxygen percentage at 70% and the PEEP remains at 38. I am thinking Neil has "aced" all his tests thus far today. We are ever so thankful for you running this marathon with us. I never dreamed what I was asking of you all and so appreciate your faithfulness. Please continue to pray for Neil's lungs. Also, we have a family with us having to make a difficult decision. Please remember Fred and his family in your prayers. Thank you all very much.

Thanks for another great day! Thought this was cute and may bring you a smile -- Kate's prayer last night, "Dear Lord, thank you this day and many your blessings. Be with Neil Dantham and his yungs. Please help all those doctor men to give him all his medicine so he'll feel better." It was too cute (and so grown up!). Just know we are ALL praying faithfully for his lungs and your strength! GO NEIL GO!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that it is great to hear that Neil is doing well with the ventilator and that he is showing improvment. I have been continuing to ask about him through the Grantham family for which I am a part of. Wanda Davis, (Grantham is her maiden name and she is the oldest daughter of Grady B. Grantham) is my mother so I think that makes us second or third cousins or somewhere close to that but anyway Kathy Bozeman is my mother-in-law and she continues to to update me about Neil and told me about the website. Even though we may not know each other very well you all are still family so Steven and I will continue to pray for him as well as all of you to endure the trying time and we hope for a speedy recovery.

With thoughts and prayers

I have been following this story since the accident and it is so nice to see so many people pulling for Neil. I do not personally know him, however my heart goes out to the family. "Trust is the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
We are praying for you all!!!
