Just visited Neil. Neil continues to make progress with his movement. One thing the doctor said this morning was he was not surprised at Neil's weakness. He was not concerned. That seemed to reassure Neil. Neil was very tired. This afternoon he had a bath and the nurse moved him to side to side to check his sides and back. He is doing great on this ventilator setting with the oxygen sat at 97. Remember the PEEP is at 5. Wow, do you all remember the 45-48 PEEP on the bi-level ventilator? All I can say is miracles abound for Neil. Please pray for Neil's lungs.
Please pray for the full recovery of Sue, Shannon, Christie and our other friends here. The good news today is Christie was moved to a room today. Now her family can be with her. Yea!!!!! There is some discussion about Sue going to the Long Term Hospital at Jackson. Her daughters have been to see the facility. Actually, they went over there before us so we were able to compare notes. Sue continues to improve and we are so pleased.
We sure hope Scott continues to recover at home. Please remember this family in your prayers.

Wow! Neil has made great progress the last few days! 5 PEEP is fabulous!! Lots of love and prayers are better than any medicine and he appears to be getting plenty of both from all over the world! What an inspirational story his recovery is for all of us. Thinking of you all and wanted you to know it.

I was out of town for a week with no internet and the first thing I did when I got home was check on Neil. I am soooooo excited with the progress he has made!! It is truly wonderful. Tell him I said hello and all of you continue to be in my prayers.

Neil: We are so thrilled with your continued progress. God has been so faithful to answer the prayers of the multitudes that are praying for you!! WoW! I have been away from the computer since Thursday and it is amazing the amount of progress he has made in those few days. It has been difficult not being able to follow Neil the last few days, but all of you were constantly on my mind. Tell Neil hey for me and I am still praying for a fast recovery. Neil, we have kept up almost daily with your progress since your wreck. God has been good and has brought you this far. We pray that you will get stronger and stronger in the days ahead and not too many days in the future will be back to your old self. (But on the other hand I don't know if we should wish for that or not! Ha!) I always enjoyed having you in my classroom! We will continue to remember you in the days ahead.
