March 6 1:30pm

We just had a visit with Neil. He has made another "baby" step. They were able to back off the big old ventilator setting by 10%. What that means is he has a bit of an oxygen reserve. He has had NO oxygen reserve since at least Friday. We are celebrating!!!!!! Every hour is a good hour. I have not mentioned the work places of the parents. We are so appreciative of Elba General Hospital, First Financial, Troy University and the Alabama State Department of Human Resources. We all cannot wait to carry an extra load for those wonderful folks covering for us. Please continue your prayers for Neil's lungs. Your love is supporting all of us.

We're so glad to hear the good news, hopefully it'll keep getting better and better. Thanks a million to the folks keeping the rest of us updated. Be sure Neil knows we're routing for him as hard as we can and let him know that I'll let him 'borrow' the favorite nephew title for now, but it's just a loan :) We wish the best for all of you and let us know if we can do anything!

ok, getting ready for crick/crack, going to miss you Lucia. Also, you tell Neil I'm practicing up on my Texas Hole Em and waiting patiently for his recovery so I can show him how to really play.
Jokes aside, keep up the good work, it's working along with all the prayers across our great country. We love you all.
