March 6 6:10 pm
We just had a visit with Neil. He continues to manage at the new vent setting which means he still has the reserve. The day nurse, said she was able to stop the bed for 60 minutes. During this time she brushed Neil's teeth and had to repair a leak in the ventilator tube. His oxygen sats had dropped to 91 but she was not concerned. She believes he will be able to get back to 95-97 in about an hour. We continue to be very encouraged while recognizing these are very small steps. Neil must make baby steps to continue his progress. Thank you all for your prayers. Please continue to pray for Neil's lungs. I cannot wait to let you know about the 8:30 visit. Your love keeps us going.

Uncle John called today to let me know about your trial. Know that all of us in Cookeville will be keeping all of you in our prayers. I praise God that Neil survived the wreck and is improving in spite of all the damage that was done. God is so merciful! Deann, I haven't met you yet but hope to under happier circumstances. Hey ya'll, don't forget to keep up your strength, even if you don't feel like it. Cokes just really don't carry you very long ;) My prayer for you is that God will wrap you in His strength and that He will bring Neil forth to praise Christ in ways he never thought possible.
