March 6 11:20 am
We had a visit with Neil at 10:00 am. He is still managing the ventilator setting. His blood pressure continues to be good with no medication. He has had no fever this morning. At 3:30 this afternoon he will have been on the Xigris for 40 hours. The doctor is not on call this weekend. So tomorrow the doctor will change the dressing on his abdomen. The doctor will be available if Neil needs him over the weekend. We are celebrating that Neil has not lost any ground today. Immediately after the first surgery, we were told there would be serious lung involvement. Also, they said this would be long and hard and for us to realize this would be a "marathon". We certainly did not realize what they were saying or what it actually meant. I was hoping Neil would skip some of their predictions. As most of you know, Neil has not always followed the rules. (I am smiling) We cannot wait to see him at 1pm. Please keep your prayers focused on Neil's lungs. Your prayers, love and support continues to sustain Neil as well as us.

It's great to hear of Neil's progress - our prayers are being answered! God can do more than we ask or even can imagine - we'll keep praying that He will. God bless Neil and all of you!

God has assured us that Angels are sent down to protect us. They have been at Neil's side in all shapes and forms. God has proven this to me by all the prayers, love and concern shown by people obviously from one coast to the other and from the Canadian border to Southern border of the United States and I am sure overseas. As an Aunt and Uncle to Neil I feel so BLESSED and I know God is a good God and God is blessing the Grantham family in every possible way and He is holding them in his arms at this time! We love you Neil and we will continue to pray for you and all of your family!!
Love to all!!!

Hello to the Grantham family, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but feel that I know you through Jenny and through reading all the contents of Neil's blog. Every day, I pray that God will heal and bless Neil and everyone connected to him. I will continue to pray and to thank Him for all Neil's progress. Love and prayers, Bonnie King
We all know Neil has not always been one to follow the rules...that is one of the many things we love about him. I am so excited and relieved to hear that he had a "good" night. I wish I could have been with you guys today, but I hope that Blake and Brayden shared my love for me. I am still praying for you guys and love you very much. Mr. Kenneth, Ms. Lucia, Reese and Deann, you guys don't forgot to take care of yourselves through this. We are always here for you for whatever you may need. Give Neil my love today and tell him I can't wait to see him. Oh, and tell him to hurry and recover because his David Hasselhof (however it is spelled) impersonation won't be nearly as funny done from the roll ease at the beach.
