March 8 8:30 am
Good Morning, We were able to talk to Neil's nurse this morning. She said Neil had an OK night. His oxygen sats are still at 96-97. We think this sounds better than OK. We look forward to maybe an easier day for Neil. I keep trying to add information so those of you praying for him will know him a bit better. Neil and DeAnn married August 25, 2007. It was the most fabulous celebration one could imagine. Both families and our friends were thrilled with their decision. There is another amazing thing about our young man. He has cerebral palsy. We were blessed with the type he has in that his only limitations are on the left side of his body. He has minimal fine motor skills in his left hand and has a limp. Neil had to have some surgery as a child. There was some discussions about what he would not be able to do. No one ever told Neil there would be tasks he could not accomplish. He played basketball, rode bicycles, and loves to swim. Now be sure he does not do these things exactly like everyone else but it is most effective. We are a very active family. One of our favorite sports is golf. Neil loves to play golf. Again, his golf swing is not like Tiger Woods but gets the job done. He has had 2, count them 2, holes in one. WOW Just wanted you to know the young man you are lifting up in prayers has always beat the odds and has an incredible love of life. We will never be able to adequately express our love and appreciation for your prayers for him. Please continue to pray for Neil's lungs. We know we had a miracle yesterday. The day nurse, said he could not explain how he recovered from the oxygen sat of 75 back to 96. We told him we knew as it was another miracle. To each one of you, thanks ever so much.

Yeah again!!!! Neil is really an amazing young many and I cannot wait to get to know him. He and Deanne have a lot to look forward to. I am sooo glad that I am in Montgomery so that I can be there for anything they need in the future. I still think that it is cool that Lucia's son and Jan's daughter got married. That is so funny after being gone for all these years to come back and see this precious union. I truely forward to getting to know them in the future. Know that I will be there for them!! I feel that it is going to be a good day.Love Janet

Thank you God for another prayer answered for our precious Neil! Lucia, If I may add to your beautiful description of Neil for all who are praying and don't know him...I am Neil's 5th grade teacher. Neil did everything and I mean everything that everyone else did and more. He was so loved by his classmates and always had us all laughing even when I probably should have had more control. He was the "funist" class clown I ever had the pleasure of teaching. He was also the most well rounded student. Besides being popular and extremely social, he was smart, athletic, and respectful. Teachers always have those few students that they always remember as being really "special". Neil is one of those students for me.
That's right 2 hole in 1's...and I was there for 1:)neil is the man
