March 7 1:30 pm

We just had a visit with Neil. His oxygen sats have continued to drop. However, he has been able to recover from 77 to 82. We have seen miracles every single day and this looks like the beginning of another one. Neil is getting a unit of blood right now. They have stopped the Xigris so in a couple of hours Dr. Vermillion can change the dressing on his abdomen. During this he will decide if he can manage the colostomy. We have always been an optimistic family and we are so filled with hope and your encouragement sustains us. Please, please keep praying for Neil's lungs. Always please surround the Andress family with love and support.

My heart goes out to you all. I have been keeping up with the postings, but suddenly felt compelled to leave a note. Neil is in my prayers and constant thoughts. My prayers also go up for you, the family. I have wanted to tell Kenneth that I am available if he needs anything done at his house or brought to Montgomery from his house. I drive to MGY almost daily. I love you all and am just a call away.
Hugs and Prayers,
