We had a visit with Neil at 10:oo. We saw Dr. Vermillion's physician's assistant. She said they had given Neil 2 units of blood. This is due to two things. One is he has several drainage tubes and the other is his body is not producing enough blood. They hope the 2 units with help the oxygen supply. The lungs are the big issue. She said it would take a week to a week and a half. We are almost a week into this and are optimistic in that in the next few days maybe there will be more improvement. She said the chest x-ray was a bit worse today. Yesterday the x-ray was a "hair" better. So, we are celebrating it is not any worse. Please keep showering Neil with your prayers for the improvement of his lungs. We are so very appreciative for each of you. We will be able to see Neil again at 1pm. Each visit we tell him of your love and support.
