I just got off the phone with Dad and Reese is out of surgery and everything went ok. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. She should be able to go home this afternoon.
I just got back from Baptist myself for all the pre-op stuff. I'm going to have my last surgery next Wed. at 12:00.
Roll Tide this weekend and we'll talk later.

I missed 2 days of checking the blog and I miss something. That should teach me a lesson. Ha.

Neil, what a cool God story i have for you! So we had the wife of a friend of Tony's take some pictures of Chip the other day and we went to their house afterwards for dinner and got to talking. We chatted about life and everything and then Scott (the friend of Tony's) asked about my cousing who had had the bad accident. I caught him up on the miracle that the Lord had done and the miracle you are and we kept on with conversation. Well yesterday, Jennie (the wife) emailed us the pictures and told me this story:
ok. so how is this for coincidence. i met this girl in a very "God-cidence" kinda way (long story, tell you later) months back at the beginning of God's call to our family concerning adoption. she had adopted two girls from china. i was asking her who did her homestudy and she told me someone by the name of "grantham". so in a effort to find this woman she was speaking of i googled that name. i get a website of neil grantham. i start to read this blog and are just moved to tears by reading the circumstance of this young man. i put him on our blogspot's prayer request, and were moved HEAVILY to pray for him right there, as i was checking my email that night. been thinking of them ever since. ( redid blogspot, lost neil's)....low and behold, as i was checking out yalls. there it was. God is so.....God. it is just so AWESOME that neil is healing. that blog burned in a hole in my heart for some reason. now i see why. it really makes you see how connected in God's eyes we are as believers. even if we don't see it half the time.
Just goes to show you how big our God is and that God's people are a HUGE extended family all over the world!
Love you and are so proud. Can't wait for you to meet Chip!!!
