May 26 8:30 pm

Good Evening to all, Neil has had a good day. The pain is still manageable and we are all so pleased. Neil was able to sit in a chair for about an hour and a half. Otherwise, you know weekends are slow in the hospital. Please pray for Neil's leg.

We are so very thankful for each of you. We can never tell you how much your prayers and love have meant to us. We cannot wait until tomorrow. We hope all of you are having a good Memorial Day Weekend. Be safe in your travels.

We love you DEARLY!!

Dear Neil, we hope this Memorial Day is a day of rest and recouperation and relief from pain. We're so hoping that your recovery from surgery will be smooth sailing from here on and that you'll graduate to HealthSouth very soon. Love to DeAnn and your family, Becky P

Hello Neil,
It makes me very sad that I wasn't able to see you while I was down south. I had to cut my trip short because of the storms moving east. I also hate that I didn't meet Deann. The day of your surgery was so overwhelming with so many people there for support that I didn't introduce myself and thought I'd be back when you could see visitors. That wasn't the case and I regret it. I'm still praying for you and your family and admire you so much. Give your Dad a hug for me.

Neil - Today is a day to honor our brave soldiers. You may not have been on a military battle ground, but you have definetly been fighting a battle these past few weeks. A battle which you have won, and one day soon you will have a wonderful homecoming. You are such a remarkable and courageous young man, and I know God has wonderful things in store for you. I love you! YPSSSYGA
