6/23/08 6:30 PM

Hey Everybody. This is Neil from Health South. We finally got here about 4:30. So far everybody has been very nice and we got the great news that DeAnn gets to be my roommate. That's really all we know at this point. I will have a full morning of new things. I know some of this gets a little repetitive, but I want to thank each of you for all your thoughts and prayers. I also can't say enough about my feelings for all staff at Baptist. South. I also want to thank my boss, Denny Sanford, for his continued support. I will let you know more tomorrow after I find out the routine. Good night from Health South.

A big WOOHOO!!! I just had a feeling today would be the day. I'm so proud of you sweetie. Your Mom and Dad are ecstatic I bet. It's finally here sweetie, it's the day you've been waiting for and nobody deserves the blessings you'll get more than you and DeAnn. Give 'em hell, you'll be home in no time.
Love you
Lynn

Neil, congrats! I know that it has been a long battle, but you are obviously a real trooper. I have followed your blog from day to day and so happy that you are now in rehab. I know that you don't know me, but I am a distant cousin. Your grandfather, Lewey, was my first cousin and the whole family loved him dearly and that has certainly made you very special! You have been in our prayers and we will continue to pray for you during your new venture! With Love, Peggy Hood Waters from Eprise

This is great news! You are such an inspiration to all of us. You do not know me but let me tell you, I loved your grandfather, Neil Grantham, like he was my family and I have known since the day of the accident that with him AND Lewie Stephens above there was no way God could choose anyway but to heal you.
Congratulations on a great day.

Congratulations, Neil!! I've been checking the blog all day to see if "The Great Escape" was really going to take place today. I can't wait to send out an e-mail update to our church prayer chain in the morning--and to change your status on our prayer list. You and your family have been such wonderful examples of how to face difficult times with positive attitudes and great faith.
Love to all, Kathy Morrow

So you are now approaching the
